Vacation Memories

Mum's too lazy tired to help me write a proper blog post, so she said I could choose some photos from our summer vacation to post instead.

This was a lake I wasn't allowed to swim in. Something about the d-u-c-k-s.
I had to stay on the long leash while we were there.

This is the biggest meadow in the whole world. It would take me the whole day to run to the other side. We drove in the car and it took hours and hours.

I did a lot of running.

And skipping.

And jumping.

That's some of my favorite things to do on vacation. Chasing ducks would have been good too. Oh, well.

Hey Ruby
Its really fun to see some sunshine amidst all the snow on the other blogs. You seem like you had an awesome vacation. Being a Golden retriever myself, I fully understand the Duck-dilemma...Oh dear - what shall we do with our instinct? That meadow also looks such fun. Would love to run free like that....!

What a great meadow to run zoomies in. When we went to the lake in Maryland, Bentley liked to get all the geese in the water. If they came out of the water, he'd herd them back in again.

Looks like someone was having fun!!

On another note, do you have a favorite hotel in Sedona? I may be making a visit there soon. Thank you!

Yeah, take whatever you can get, Ruby. Running free is worth staying away from the ducks.

How comes you couldn't chase the ducks? You weren't going to eat them, were you? Sam would have loved the meadow!

Mum said it was called a wild life preserve and we would get into trouble if I chased the birds there. I think it has something to do with making jam. The critters must be very busy with it and can't waste time playing around with us pups.

Looks like you had a great time on your vacation! You picked a great series of pictures. Too bad you didn't get to go swimming with the ducks. I'm sure they would have loved some company.
